Texas!

Hey guys.

So my christmas and new years eve was very different this year. I didn't spend it around my family as I usually do, I spend them with my best friend and her family in Houston, TX. It wasn't my first time over there, but it was special. I had two weeks where I had my friend on my own, well more or less. I did experience a lot those two weeks, and it was everything from just a walk to visiting some fancy place in the area. 

It was very sad to leave them, and as they're like my other family, I really do miss them now. Even one of her younger sisters started crying. It really touched me! Even her dog knew that a suitcase meant someone would leave. That's rather incredible.

So what did I see, ah well.. a lot. San Jacinto, Johnson Space Center, Houston Museum of Natural Science, Downtown Houston, The Nutcracker at Houston Ballet, meeting locals, Lake Houston.. just a lot! But to be honest I think I will post them separately as posts, as I think it'll be too long for now. 

But I enjoyed my two weeks in the states, and I defiantly felt like I saw a lot. The two weeks wasn't enough for me, I miss Helene and her family so much. But well, I have to survive without them. I will see them again one day.

2013

So 2013 happened to end a few days ago, and at the moment I sit in Houston, TX, and thinks back on that. I did not manage to blog a lot, and as always I try to promise I will change it, which I maybe will.. Well anyway I did start a blog about how I look at musicals, and my experiences. I might also make one with my pictures, as that is pretty much a new hobby. I might also include the less good work, but a little of everything I guess.

Teacher for a day... or actually two :P

Yeah.. Together with one of my best friends I have been teaching my class in short films today.

It was AWESOME!

It's weird just saying we tell you this, show you this short film. Go work with it! It's so weird!

Well.. Then I also had al my musicschool stuff today :D Like Flute lessons, singing lessons, Junior Big Band og choir. I LOVE IT! :D

Now I just have to make my homework.. Blaah.

Well.. In the weekend I finished "Vi Maler Byen Rød" and now I have about a month until intro meeting in Frøbjerg, so I can say I'm in a musical again :D

It's so sunny today! But still SO cold! Yeah.. I though today I want to make a little different blog than updates on my life.. Yeah!

Happy New Year!

OMG! It's more than two months ago I last blogged! Well... My life is stressed, but I got some time right now, before I have to make my homework.. :P

School

Yeah.. I still go to school.. 10th grade.. Boooring but I survive! Really I do! Mostly because I got a very good friend in my class who makes me go to school everyday I'm not sick or has something I have to do.

Musical

As you maybe know I LOVE musicals.. I've seen a few since last time, but I also finished one since last time, and there is less than one month till the next one has premier! We finished Sort/Hvid & Alt derimellem With 3 good performances! Now I'm a dancer in Vi Maler Byen Rød, which has premier in February and Sound Of Music which I'm in the Ensemble and an Ensemble Dancer in!

I hope I soon have to go to audition on Aladdin on Fredericia Theatre!

Musicals I've seen

Yeah... I've seen a couple of musicals since I last made a blog. I saw Annie on Det Ny Teater with a friend, We went to Copenhagen and had LOTS of fun! We are pretty sure we have to do that again now when they are setting Singin' In The Rain up, with my favourite actor in the main role as Don Lockwood!

Then I saw The Three Musketeers - A New Musical by George Stiles on Fredericia Theatre. That was good, but sometimes the manuscript was a little flat!

Future

I REALLY do hope that I can remember to blog a little more! But I forget it when I've got the time.. So I bet I will find some time! I HAVE TO!

So I guess I soon go to London too! YEAH! So I'm going to see Les Misérables and Phantom of the Opera in London! It's so awesome!

I will make a blog with some pictures of some stuff I've got and something that is so awesome I feel like I wanna buy it :D

Carsten Bang & Phantom of the Opera

So.. Last Saturday I wrote that I would tell you about my experience with the two shows.

Carsten Bang Plukker Kameler

Well... If you directly translate the shows name it's 'Carsten Bang Picking Camels'. The last part makes no sense but in Denmark we have to sayings: 'I have a bone to pick with you' and 'To swallow a camel.' That's where he got the title to his One-man-show from. It's so funny! I really like Stand-Up Comedy but this was the very first time I saw it live! And it was AWESOME! I laughed so much I still laughed a bit next day!

- And when I came home I wrote on his Facebook page that it was a great show and something else - And he answered me! Twice! I was so happy about that!

Phantom of the Opera - 25th Anniversary Concert

Then Sunday evening I went to the cinema to see the direct transmission of The Phantom Of The Opera's 25 Anniversary Show. I asked a friend if she wanted to see it with me, so we saw it together. We had a enjoyable night with the amazing show! And by the way it was the first time I saw the stage version. It was so fantastic. I really don't have words for it! Not I just wait for the DVD & CD to come out!

1 Month Later...

So one again another month passed by without any blogs..
But here is the update since last time!


School
In the school I just enjoy my friends and learn a few things! Well.. I just had a theme-week and I actually should have been to school today, but I had to go to work! Which I'm happy about! But I have some good classmates and I guess it will be my best year in school!

- Here is a picture with me and my friend Helene from my class. It's from this Monday where we made a collage-swan . I'm the one to the right.

Musical
So as I said I got a part in the musical 'Sort/Hvidt - og alt derimellem.' (Black&White - and all in between). We already had a couple of rehearsals and I this it's going well. It's mt first part with more than 3 lines. From 3 lines with maximum 10 words in them to 26 lines with alot of 2-4 lines between it's hard to learn just at once! + I need to work!
Well.. I went to an audition about 1½ week ago. I still wait for the answer! I want it now..!


Visit from Hungary
So from September 10th to September 15th I had two kind girls from Hungary living by me. They came with their music school like I was in Hungary in the Easter with my music school. And I actually lived by them when I was there. They are sisters. I got this awesome drawing from the oldest of them and they though I should have this Hungarian game named Aranyásók (Gold digger in English). I miss them so much!


Future
So things I have to do in the future I guess I will blog about is like I have to see Carsten Bang live tonight! I really can't wait. If you don't know who Carsten Bang is I can tell you he is a danish comedian.
Then I have to see The Phantom of the Opera 25th anniversary concert - live from Royal Albert Hall tomorrow night with my friend.
With the same friend I have to go to Copenhagen in 2 weeks. It's so awesome! We got some good seats for Annie on Det Ny Teater (The New Theater)!
